The role and key areas of responsibility:
As a Cloud Architect you will be a part of our Professional Services team where the main task is to plan, design and migrate Basefarm’s customers to the Cloud. This also includes working proactively with the customer and planning for future expansions. You will be exposed to different type of customer facing projects in both big and small companies with varying business requirements. Meaning sometimes you will start a project and see it through until its end or jump into an existing engagement when extra resources are needed. To make sure we have the right conditions from the start you will also be active in pre-sales and sales customer meetings/workshops and presentations to support on technical aspects.
For this position you should have:
- Relevant working experience as a Cloud Architect or similar position (AWS and/or Azure)
- Experience of scripting and automation/DevOps (Terraform, ARM, CLI, Powershell)
- Have a good understanding of Cloud Security
- The possibility to travel in work to meet the customers
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
